How to Calculate CGPA from SGPA
To Calculate CGPA from SGPA, follow these steps:
Add all SGPAs – Sum the SGPA scores obtained in each semester.
Divide by total semesters – Divide the total SGPA by the number of semesters completed.
CGPA = (Sum of SGPAs of All Semesters) ÷ (Total Number of Semesters)
Calculations:
Sum all your SGPAs from each semester
Divide the total by the number of semesters.
For example, if your SGPAs for 6 semesters are 8.5, 9.0, 8.0, 8.5, 9.5, and 9.0, the sum is 52.5. Dividing by 6 gives a CGPA of 8.75.
